Central Receiving is working to provide the university community with unparalleled delivery services, utilizing our professional delivery team, new business processes and the OSU Shipment Tracking System. We can provide expedited same-day shipping, standard next-day shipping or specialized scheduled deliveries, as well as pickups for outgoing shipments.

DELIVERY AND PICKUP SERVICE INFORMATION
Due to many of the buildings on campus being locked, delivery and pickup services may be interrupted. Please reach out to osums@osu.edu for guidance in obtaining your shipments from Central Receiving.
WORKDAY - Central Receiving
Ensure you are getting your deliveries quickly, to the correct location: Update your Deliver-to address in Workday
The new UPS ShipExec system will work during and after the transition to WorkDay.
PO Returns and Stores Inventory Returns are now required to be completed in Workday. A return authorization number should be included with each request. View the Supplier Return Job Aid.
Pickup requests for Toner Recycle, Gas Cylinder, and FedEx/UPS will continue to be submitted through the Central Receiving website.

Notes for pickup requests and Campus Mail drop boxes
- UPS & Mail pickup requests must be made by 3:00 pm for same day pickup.
- Pickups of more than 10 pieces or 100 lbs. may be scheduled as a bulk pickup for the next business day.
- Effective 11/21/22, UPS drop boxes have been removed from service across campus. Outgoing UPS, FedEx, Metered Mail, Campus Mail, and USPS may be placed inside the white Campus Mail drop boxes located conveniently across campus. Please note service times may have changed for individual drop boxes.

Shipment Tracking
Central Receiving now offers a solution to track the status of central campus deliveries for parcels and freight received at 2650 Kenny Road.
Access the OSU Shipment Tracking System
Please have your OSU Purchase Order Number and or UPS or FedEx tracking number ready.
Pickups and Returns
After submitting returns, please attach the form or the email confirmation to the package and leave the item so it is visible to the driver in the same location that is selected on the returns form. Please communicate to others in your department where the return is located in case you are not present when our driver arrives.
Outgoing UPS, FedEx and Freight Shipment: UPS/FedEx pickups are only for items that do not fit in an OSU drop box. Requests must be made by 3:00 pm for same day pick-up. Any pickup larger than 100 lbs. or more than 10 pieces, may be scheduled as a bulk pick-up, for the next business day.

Incorrect or damaged orders
If you have received an order from a vendor and the order is not correct (the wrong product or incorrect quantity) or damaged, please contact the vendor directly for corrective actions.

- Successfully complete the Shipping Final Assessment in BuckeyeLearn.
- Complete the FedEx Shipping Access Request Form
- Email the form to osums@osu.edu
